Yes, I know this isn’t quite as the story goes. But, It should be! I’m not rewriting history, but rather just manipulating the myth. Traditionally, this lady rode on horseback naked and a silly man snuck a peek. What’s wrong with that, you might ask? Unfortunately, the town was forbidden to. Because he couldn’t control himself, he immediately turned to stone. Well, I say fuck that. Her husband, Leofric was the challenger to her riding naked in the first place! She gazed into his beady marble-y eyes and said “Even you are right…twice a day.” And, kissed his earlobe awkwardly, and his Skittles shell shed, and he was a bleeding, breathing man, once again. The End. Just kidding.
And she was ready to fix that! Lady Godiva chatted with Thomas for a few hours. You know, to make sure he only liked glancing and didn’t have some REAL skeletons in his closet. Next, she checked his closets. And then they were good to go! She did, however, find some nude-y drawings, and rather than being repulsed, she was pleasantly delighted.
