Our Nude Women’s Photoshoot

The day we had planned for our nude women’s photoshoot started as we had planned. We had booked a photographer for what we were calling an “intimate shoot.” That is how we were referring to it. It sounded safe and artistic. It was something we saw online and thought would be fun. We have been friends since we were young, and thought it would be a way to show the bond we have had over the years.

The moment we stepped into that bathroom lit for the shoot, everything shifted!

The lights were set to warm, almost glowing. Daylight shining through the window, giving everything gentle edges. It was a stage and “just photos.” Didn’t seem like the right words anymore.

The photographer introduced himself and gave us some general directions. He was so hot. Not what we were here for, for sure, but it was something I noticed and made it just a little bit more awkward. When he dried off and went back to the camera, it was different; this was now more than a photo shoot. We now had permission for something different, something more than our nude woman photo shoot, and it was just the three of us in this steamy little intimate bubble.

When she leaned in, it wasn’t planned. It was just a natural progression to whatever this had become. It was soft and unspoken, and our friendship shifted. We weren’t alone, though we were being observed, and the moment was being captured.

His presence didn’t pull me out of it, it intensified the heat of this nude women’s photoshoot.

The directions he gave moved us closer and more intimate. He was witnessing us, fully.  She and I were being honest in our touch and pose, she had found my hand underwater and squeezed. She was reminding me of our trust and our history and something new. It grounded me.

With her presence, there was his too, us three together on this journey. The camera clicked again. He put it down and walked towards us. We looked at each other and nodded. We asked him to join us. With the camera set aside and his clothes joining it, the nude woman’s photo shoot became something else altogether.
