Personally, I find it romantic and tragic. To celebrate St. Valentine’s martyrdom, the church created a holiday that has evolved into our current celebration. Honestly, it’s hard to imagine these are the start of Valentine’s Day, right?! Of course, with such conviction and devotion, it does add to how special this day is and should be spent with loved ones.
Therefore, we can spend our time loving and caring for each other. What a fantastic way to spend this day. Whether we go out for a special dinner, go to a show or event or we stay home to enjoy each other in every possible way.
