I am not expecting to see him so soon, but I am not disappointed to see him either.

My aunt Debbie is always telling me how good he looks and that he is single. So, when I am out on that old road with flat, it is a surprise that Jake pulls up. And, until this moment, I wasn’t thinking there would be a flat tire and ex sex. Whew!

Don’t go all dirty on me yet. We didn’t jump into his truck and bump uglies right then. First, the kind guy in him takes care of switching tires for me. As he does that, he is eager to know about my current life. And, damn, that smile still makes me weak in the knees.

As I am standing there watching him with that flat tire, I am thinking about ex sex.

Jake and I have known each other our entire lives. However, when I left our little community, I left everything and everyone behind. Well, except for my family connections. He was so sad and angry with me back then.
