Eric could not wait for Spring. After enduring two blizzards, he was truly over “Second Winter.” After a warm couple of days, the temperature dropped way back down, leaving him not wanting to move much farther past his couch. He had a tv, some snacks, and the remote. Someone to snuggle up with would have been nice, but such is life. He flipped through movie trailers, none of which grabbed his attention. However, his attention was grabbed when he heard some music blasting through the wall. He only shared a townhouse with an elderly lady. Eric found it hard to believe that electronica was her sound of choice. He checked next door, and nothing. How could this sound be coming through the wall? Was it something underground? Or did he just need to see everything between to find his Disco Dream Girl?
Hours went by. Instead of becoming angry or frustrated with the music, he was intrigued, excited. He knew there was something much bigger than sound between the walls. There had to be life, there had to be … Possibly, something beyond his wildest dreams. Of course, he would be shocked when he finally saw her, his disco dream girl. However, he would have to get to her first. Finally, he stood atop his bed and pressed his hands onto the wall. After all these hours of trying, he finally realized that none of it made sense, so maybe his actions didn’t have to either. After placing his hands to plaster, he imagined being inside the sound. Within seconds, he was.
He followed her as the sound of Donna Summer’s” I Feel Love” became louder and louder. The vibrations shot up his spine, but it wasn’t from the music. He knew the sound came from her. She was the cause of all of this. She was the cause of his inability to just wank one off and hit the bed. This woman drove him crazy without as much as a visual of her existence. Only an idea. A hope. Only the vibrations through the wall. The vibrations were not just through the wall anymore, but between his thighs. He ached. He wanted her. Whatever she was. He wasn’t dreaming; this had to be real. Right? After turning another corner of a maze that he never thought he would take, there she was.

Practically a pool of himself, he managed to walk up to her. But, like a dream, he could not speak. He could only feel. Without words, she still understood, and so it was better than a dream.
