Gemma’s POV: A chance encounter on vacation!

It’s been forever since I’ve had a vacation, and I am in desperate need of one. The last few months have been hell, to say the least, so all I want is to relax and not deal with anyone for a week. But of course, there are always going to be assholes wherever you go, and these two pigs are no exception. I overhear them talking about the woman at the bar as the sweet waitress is helping me out. It isn’t until I hear them harassing her that I speak up for her. Who knew that in doing so, I would become someone’s obsession in paradise?

As I’m ripping these guys a new one for being so disrespectful, I notice a few people from the bachelor party celebrating are watching the show. Clearly, they are impressed, but I’m more focused on proving a point to these asshats. When I’m done, they scurry away like the little bitches they are. I get some approving applause before heading back to my table to enjoy the rest of my evening. The server thanks me and brings me a couple of shots on the house to celebrate before she pulls me onto the dance floor. Even though those guys were asses, I think I’m going to enjoy this little break.

Emmett’s POV: My Obsession in Paradise!

I know we’re supposed to be celebrating my brother’s wedding, but truly, I’m not in the partying mood. Some big deals are happening at work, and all I want is to focus on that instead of being here watching women throw themselves at us. If I wanted that, then I could have stayed home, but I’m trying to be supportive. Then we hear a woman ripping some pricks a new one for being a bunch of douchebags. When I look over, I see the most breathtaking woman I’ve ever seen in my life, and I swear my heart stops.

The rest of the evening, I can’t take my eyes off of her. She shoots whiskey like a champ, dances so carefree, has an angelic ebony glow, and isn’t afraid to stand up for someone. My brother watches me staring and encourages me to go talk to her, but for some reason, I can’t. I’ve never had a problem attracting women, but she isn’t like any other woman I’ve met, and I feel really off my game. When I finally work up the courage to speak to her, she gets a call and leaves. I don’t know what it is, but she’s quickly becoming my obsession in paradise.

Gemma’s POV: Sexy Unexpected Stranger!

After a while, I get a phone call from my ex and decide to call it a night. When I answer, it’s the same BS that I’ve been dealing with for months, and I’m sick of it.   “I’m done,” I told him.  Then, he started with the name-calling and all-around disrespect as usual. I hang up on him and decide to make the most of this vacation. So the next day, I head off to the beach to enjoy the sun and weather. As I’m sitting on a beach chair reading, I see these two skanks walking around trying to find anything with a pulse to screw.

What someone else does is none of my business until they make it my business. And these two are working my nerves to a point that I have to say something. “You know not everyone isn’t interested in fucking two needy skanks who can’t take a hint.” This sets them off, but I don’t care. I gather my stuff and head back to the pier for lunch when I run into the hottest man I’ve ever seen.

Emmett’s POV: Obsession in Paradise…Who Would Have Thought?

All night, all I could do was think about this woman. Everything about her is perfection, and I need to see her again. I walk out to the beach for some fresh air when these bimbos try flirting with me, but I quickly shut them down. I walk along the beach a while longer when I see them again, but this time they are being told off by the woman I’ve been dreaming about. She gets up to leave and actually runs into me, igniting my obsession in paradise further.

Over the next few days, I convince her to spend some time with me, and I couldn’t be more in love. I’ve been a gentleman, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t want to see her in my bed. I walk her back to her room after another amazing day, and try to behave, but the blood rushes to my cock every time I’m around her. When we get to her door, I’m dreading leaving her until she invites me in. Then something unexpected happens, and I lose all control of my senses.

As I close the door behind me, I turn to see her sitting on the bed with a daring look I’ve never seen before. She doesn’t say anything, only motions for me to come to her with a seductive smile. Walking over, I feel myself aching for my obsession in paradise, and I think she can tell. She pulls me into her, and I feel her lips crash against mine. “I want you, Emmett,” she whispers seductively in my ear…
